Established 2023, Tangent Brewing Company was created by three friends who share an interest in creating delicious craft beer recipes and brewing beers of the highest quality and standards, to suit a variety of customer tastes.
Like many Breweries, our journey started with home brewing
Initially this was for ourselves, then extended to family and friends. The feedback was extremely positive with lots of interest and conversations about brewing professionally. This spurred the team on to form a Company, and Tangent was born in January 2023. Our name being chosen due to the considerable number of Tangents the team are capable of going on when creating recipes, and also generally throughout the day!

Tangent Brewing Co. is based in Bristol, which not only has an excellent craft beer scene, it’s a great place to live and work.
Strategically located in South West England, the Tangent brewery can be found between Bristol and the Cotswolds. With excellent transportation and travel links, we’re able to supply our great tasting craft beer products throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and rest of the World.

Our mission is to create delicious craft beers and meads, which appeal to a range of tastes. We’re passionate about creating sophisticated and enjoyable beverages from centuries old techniques and recipes.
Our delicious recipes are designed and our beverages hand-crafted to stringent standards, ensuring each one arrives with our customers, in perfect condition, every time. Sourcing only the finest ingredients, we won’t cut corners on quality.
Our recipes are hand crafted sometimes taking many weeks and months to perfect and only being accepted into production when they have been perfected and can demonstrate balance, length, intensity, and complexity of aroma and flavour.
